Medicheck Fertility Centre

Medicheck has been promoting IVF as a solution to many Indian couples who have been trying to have their own children with no success. Medicheck IVF Centre has been established to give all the services required for the complete process of in vitro fertilization under one roof. This includes counseling, tests, follow-up and visits till the pregnancy is completed and the baby is born. In vitro fertilization is a process by which an egg is fertilised by a sperm outside the body. The process involves monitoring and stimulating a woman's ovulatory process, removing the ova from the woman's ovaries and letting the sperm fertilise them in a liquid in a laboratory. The fertilised egg (zygote) is cultured for
2–6 days in a growth medium and is then implanted in the woman's uterus, with the intention of establishing a successful pregnancy.

Male infertility is commonly due to deficiencies in the semen, and semen quality is used as a surrogate measure of male fecundity.

Female Infertility

Female fertility is affected by age. After puberty, female fertility increases and then decreases, with advanced maternal age causing an increased risk of female infertility. In humans, a woman's fertility peaks in the early and mid-20s, after which it starts to decline slowly, with a more dramatic drop at around 35. Menopause, or the cessation of menstrual periods, generally occurs in the 40s and 50s and marks the cessation of fertility, although age-related infertility can occur before then. The relationship between age and female fertility is popularly referred to as a woman's "biological clock"; when a woman reaches an age where fertility is commonly understood to drop, it can be said that her "biological clock is ticking."

Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI) is a specialized form of In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) that is used for the treatment of severe cases of male-factor infertility. During ICSI the sperm doesn't have to travel to the egg or penetrate the outer layers of the egg. This means that it can help couples where the man's sperm

IUI

Intrauterine insemination (IUI) a procedure in which a fine catheter (tube) is inserted through the cervix (the natural opening of the uterus) into the uterus (the womb) to deposit a sperm sample directly into the uterus.

Intrauterine insemination (IUI) a procedure in which a fine catheter (tube) is inserted through the cervix (the natural opening of the uterus) into the uterus (the womb) to deposit a sperm sample directly into the uterus. The purpose of IUI is to achieve fertilization and pregnancy. IUI is a relatively simple procedure. "Intrauterine" is within the uterus. "Insemination" is from "in-" + "semen," seed = seed in. So, "intrauterine insemination" = seed in the uterus.
